Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Shannon Sonnenberg. I’m a boy mom, children’s book author, and special education teacher.

I was homeschooled from grades K-12. I went on to pursue my bachelor's of science in human services from UW-Oshkosh and then my master's of arts in education from Alverno.

I am passionate about supporting children and their families with autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral disabilities, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. I believe that social skills are a foundational piece for lifelong emotional well-being, academic progress, and success at school and beyond.

In my free time, I love going on adventures with my husband and our four year old dinosaur-loving son, trying new restaurants, and reading.
